The pilot plant facilities of the Department of Food Science
are available for contract use by individuals, companies and
entrepreneurs from North Carolina and elsewhere.
Typically, our production personnel will provide services
that satisfy your process guidelines without modification.
However, technical assistance is available for those desiring
advise from our department.
Contract pricing will be determined based on the required
equipment and complexity of the process.
Schedules and Availability
The facilities are available year-round on a first-come-first-serve
basis. Normally, one day is available per week; however two
consecutive days may be arranged with advanced notice. Contact
