For students majoring in other departments or
programs, the Minor in Food Science consists of 9 credit hours
from any food science listings. Only 6 hours of 400-level courses
can be on a plan of work, but these can be Food Science courses
used to satisfy the requirements for the minor. The minor representative
to the advisory committee (who must be a graduate
faculty member in the Food, Bioprocessing and Nutrition Sciences Department) can make recommendations
on which courses should be selected. For further information regarding
this, please contact our graduate program coordinator, Dr.
Jon Allen.
