Graduates of the Food Science Department are
employed all around the world in the food, pharmaceutical, and
bioprocessing industries. Our students consistently win awards
for their research on campus and at national meetings and have
outstanding academic credentials. If you would like to meet our
undergraduate or graduate
students and find out if they would be of benefit to your company,
plan a visit to the Department with a dedicated time to interact
with the students. The Food
Science Club organizes these visits which usually include
a presentation by the company to the entire Club one evening,
followed by interviews with potential job candidates for full
time employment or for summer internships (at the B.S., M.S.,
or Ph.D. levels) the next day. Interviews may also be set up through
the College
Career Services office. Please contact Ms.
Susan Kall (Student Services Assistant) or the Vice
President or Advisor of the Food Science Club to schedule
your visit with the Club.
