How can YOU get involved in helping to build the NC Family and Consumer Sciences Foundation?

• Nominate yourself or a co-worker to serve on the Board of Directors
• Nominate an outstanding advisory board member, civic leader, business representative, etc. to serve on the Board of Directors
• Help promote and create awareness -- have your “elevator conversation” ready
• Invite the Foundation staff and steering committee to do a presentation on the Foundation in your county
• Encourage participation amongst co-workers and volunteer groups
• Be positive and supportive
• Correct misinformation
• Read and study Foundation documents and offer suggestions
• Help cultivate and refer potential donors
• Help acknowledge contributions with personal notes and calls
• Become a Donor
