| T he North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service Foundation (NCCESF) was created in 1997 to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service (CES) through increased recognition, funding and gifts from the private sector, CES current and retired employees and friends of CES. A primary focus of the NCCESF is to assist in raising funds for CES county offices, field faculty, and operations. The NCCESF is organized and functions under the auspices of the North Carolina Agricultural Foundation, Inc. , a 501(c)3 corporation. Operating under the NCCESF are:
