 The course requirements in the Department of Genetics are designed to provide students with a strong background in this basic science. The advanced level and special-topics, elective courses challenge students and expose them to cutting-edge research.

Minor

The minor in Genetics is available for students completing the Master of Science or Doctor of Philosophy. To obtain a minor in Genetics, the student must make a grade of B- or better in each of the required courses listed below and obtain approval from the Director of Genetics Graduate Programs.
