Research and teaching in plant molecular biology and biochemistry with applications to horticultural crops. Research interests include regulation of plant gene expression during development; molecular mechanisms of plant hormone action, particularly brassinosteroids; functional genomics and proteomics; function of receptor kinases in plant signal transduction.
