Research responsibilities in fresh market tomato breeding and genetics. Primary emphasis is on developing tomato cultivars with improved fruit quality and resistance to the major diseases in North Carolina. Stationed at the Mountain Horticultural Crops Research and Extension Center, Fletcher, N.C.
