Teaches a variety of Studios to undergraduate and graduate students. She also teaches a graphics course, and a Site Planning and Construction Materials and Methods course.

She is dedicated to working with clients to create natural, stimulating places that enhance of the health of families and children as well as the environment and community as a whole. She is particularly interested in the use of plants as design elements and believes in the critical role they play in improving and enhancing the human/natural experience. To this end, she is interested in opportunities to preserve and protect natural and historic resources while incorporating living infrastructure such as and bioretention gardens.

She has been involved in a broad range of local, national, and international projects through her landscape architecture practice, JTSLA. She works for both public and private clients on commercial, resort, mixed-use, and residential projects.
