Horticulture Highlights - Fall 2004
- The Southern Region Small Fruit Consortium
was established in January 1999. It is chaired by Tom
Monaco, and works with small fruit growers and
grower organizations, industries and service organizations
allied with small fruit growers, agricultural extension
programs and research stations to enhance the development
of the small fruit industries in the region. The consortium
currently involves Clemson University, the University of
Georgia, North Carolina State University, and the University
