Horticulture Highlights - Spring 2009

The JC Raulston Arboretum is a nationally acclaimed garden with the most diverse collection of plants adapted for landscape use in the southeastern United States. Plants especially adapted to Piedmont North Carolina conditions are collected and evaluated in an effort to find superior plants for use in southern landscapes.

There have been major developments at the JC Raulston Arboretum! If you have not visited in a while, even a few months, then it is time to come by. The entire rose garden has been renovated, the main entry into the White Garden is undergoing reconstruction, and the McSwain Education Center is nearly complete. Mark your calendars for the grand opening on Sept. 20 and 21, 2002 ... check our website for developing details.
