Advisor: Dr. Jonathan Schultheis and Dr. David Monks

Thesis research area: Peter works on pollination and weed control of watermelon. He characterizes the vegetative, floral, and fruit development of commercially available and numbered lines of watermelon pollenizers. He also examines pollenizers in a production setup to determine ways to maximize triploid (seedless) fruit production. Finally, Peter conducts research on halosulfuron postemergence and postemergence-direct on watermelon.
