Jim Dunphy jim_dunphy@ncsu.edu

Dr. Dunphy's training was at the University of Illinois (B.S. in Ag Science in 1962, M.S. in Soil Fertility in 1964) and Iowa State University (Ph.D. in Soil Fertility in 1972). Prior to coming to NCSU, he was Extension Crop Production Specialist at Iowa State University. He has been Crop Science Extension Specialist (Soybeans) at NCSU since 1975, and was promoted to professor in 1986.

Dr. Dunphy's primary responsibility is training field faculty, and providing support for their soybean educational efforts. He also advises Field Crop Technology majors, and teaches Soybean Production (CS-064), in the Ag Institute (2-year) program.
