ERIC DAVIES

Professor of Botany, N.C. State University

Research Interests:

1. Electrical and chemical signals evoked by environmental stress (gravity and wounding) and their role in modulating gene expression in plants.

2. Identification of novel components of the plant cystoekeleton and their role in physiological and molecular responses to environmental stress.

Teaching Interests:

Introductory biology, plant physiology, plant growth and development.
