Cardiovascular Physiology

The cardiovascular physiology program at North Carolina State University is currently a relatively small group of 2 faculty at the College of Veterinary Medicine campus.  The focus of the research program is primarily in vivo physiology in large animal species (cattle, swine, and horses).   Specific areas of research interest include novel techniques for fluid therapy, cardiovascular toxicology, cardiovascular effects of endocrine diseases, and cardiovascular diseases of cattle and horses.
