Cardiovascular Physiology at North Carolina State University is currently a relatively small group of faculty at the College of Veterinary Medicine campus. Cardiovascular Physiology is the global analysis of cardiovascular circulatory systems. The focus of our research program is primarily in vivo physiology in large animal species (cattle, swine, and horses). Specific areas of research interest include novel techniques for fluid therapy, cardiovascular toxicology, cardiovascular effects of endocrine diseases, and cardiovascular diseases of cattle and horses.
