Research Interest:

  • The role of Ca2+ in cellular signaling
  • Development of novel tools to perturb Ca2+ homeostasis in plant cells

  • NSCORT/NASA fellowship to investigate signal transduction in response to gravistimulation in plants (1998 – 2000).
  • Extended funding fall 1997 to continue characterization of the plasma membrane Ca2+-ATPase from spinach.
