unknown North Carolina plants - both native and cultivated -
submitted through the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service
or directly to NCSC. Click

2. Information on
plants poisonous to humans and livestock.
3. Development of online
plant identification resources to aid agents, field
botanists, students, and enthusiasts.
4. Loans
of specimens to other herbaria for monographic,
floristic, systematic, or other scholarly research. Our
policies governing loans, as well as general herbarium usage, are
available in both simple
html and pdf
formats.
5. Space for
researchers and students to examine specimens and literature.

catalogue of our 400+
library holdings is also available.
