Plant Pathology Graduate Student Association

The Plant Pathology Graduate Student Association (PPGSA) is a departmental association of the North Carolina State University Graduate Student Association (GSA) in which active graduate students participate in meetings, committees, discussion groups, and departmental and social activities. The association is active in student recruitment, university open house promotions, monthly socials, and sports recreation teams.

The PPGSA is specifically responsible for organizing and implementing an annual departmental seminar that features a notable scientist in plant pathology or a related area. The seminar is named in memory of Rosie Perez, a former student who died from cancer.
