NC STATE PLANT PATHOLOGY

It is the major objective of a recent NSF Grant to computerize the collection in the herbarium. Information of each collection will include scientific name, host (if any), habitat, location, collector and identifier. Most recent collections contain global positioning system (GPS) acquired location information. It is anticipated that appropriate GPS locations will be added to previous collections if given locations can be used to determine positioning using web hosted digital maps.
