Graduate Programs

Thesis and Non-Thesis

The Department offers both thesis (Master of Science) and non-thesis (Master of Poultry Science) degrees in Poultry Science, as well as, Ph.D. degrees in Animal and Poultry Science (Poultry Science concentration).. In addition, Master's and Doctoral degrees in Animal Science, Food Science, Immunology, Microbiology, Nutrition, and Physiology may be earned through inter-departmental programs while a student conducts and holds an Assistantship in the Department of Poultry Science.

Doctoral Program

Students may transfer from one program to another after approval by the Director of Graduate Programs of both programs and the Graduate School. However, a student may be admitted to only one-degree program at any given time.
