Project was rewritten for 10/1/87 - 9/30/92 under the title >Myotoxins of food and feed grains.= Husk traits, resistance to drought, insects, and environment were found to be important factors influencing aflatoxin contamination.

Discussed revision of unapproved (October 87) project proposal. First definitive report of using hydrated Na-Ca-AlSiO3 to bind AFB1 in feed, preventing toxicosis.
