
Congratulations to Dr. Ignazio Carbone, associate professor of plant pathology, and Rodrigo Olarte, graduate research assistant in plant pathology, for winning the first-ever Stewards of the Future Research Awards!
The competition, which was decided by public vote (via web and text messaging), showcased the ingenuity of CALS scientists and provided a small award of flexible funding to help support awardees’ research programs.
