Most of the documents listed under the heading "Voluntary Agricultural
Districts & Preservation Programs" are listed under areas of information
such as "County Voluntary Agricultural District and Preservation Program
Information", for example, which contains the names of several counties
with information regarding their respective programs. Under these information
areas the document names and the file formats that the documents are
available in are listed. The exception to this organization is Protecting
Farms and Farmland in the Triangle which is not an information area but
is a single document alone. The clickable file format follows this document.
Documents listed under the heading "Guidance Documents & Brochures"
are followed by the file format that the document is available in and a description
of that document. The file formats are Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and
Portable Document Format (PDF). Microsoft Word (DOC) files may be available
for some documents as well. File format abbreviations link directly to the documents.
HTML files may be viewed in most browsers including text only browsers and should
be accessible using screen readers.. PDF files require the use of Adobe Acrobat
Reader to view, search, download, and print. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat
Reader click on the following icon below to download this program:

The abbreviations for each of the file formats are linked to the files and
appear after the name of the document. To access these files simply click on
the file format you wish to view. To request information or if any information
