A Research Experience for Incoming NC State University Freshman

Participants 2004

From Andrew Snyder
RISE was an amazing experience for me.  Not only did it open my eyes to undergraduate research opportunities, but the small, close-knit group of fellow undergrads allowed us to become close friends.  The best friends that I have here at State are fellow "RISEers."  This semester has gone really well.  I'm making good grades and having a great time.  RISE was a great help for this transition and I felt like it more than adequately prepared me for college.  I am VERY interested in doing more summer research (in a new area, or the same).
