Beth and Lynn Turner

Dr. Lynn Turner retired in December 2008, with 35 years of dedicated service.  He has devoted his life to helping students pursue their educational, vocational, and personal goals while mentoring student leadership.  Dr. Turner is a strong advocate for students through his work as undergraduate teaching coordinator for the Food Science Department.  He served as advisor to the Agri-Life Council and the Agricultural Institute Club. and as advisor to the Food Science Club and the Alpha Zeta Honor Fraternity for many years. These are just a few of the many examples of Dr. Turner’s engagement and services to our College and its students. To honor and celebrate Dr. Turner's exemplary career, service and leadership, we have established the Lynn and Beth Turner Student Leaders Scholarship Endowment.  This endowment will not only be a lasting tribute to this notable educator, mentor, and leader, but it will help support many worthy students into perpetuity. Students in any CALS and Ag Institute two- and four-year majors who demonstrate leadership and character will be eligible for the scholarships.

If you would like to make a tax-deductible contribution to the endowment in honor of Lynn's retirement, you may do so securely online or you may print a form for mailing.
